OLY Wellness ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the OLY mobile application ("App").

By using OLY, you agree to the practices described below.

 

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use the App:

1.1 Personal Information

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Profile photo (if uploaded)

  • Login credentials (securely stored, never shared)

1.2 Usage & Interaction Data

  • Session selections (yoga, meditation, breathing)

  • Session duration and completion

  • App navigation activity (e.g., settings opened, progress screen)

  • Audio interaction (voice commands) – We do not store voice recordings; only command results are processed.

1.3 Device Information

  • Device model and OS version

  • App version and build number

  • Crash logs & performance data (non-sensitive)

1.4 Camera & Motion Tracking

  • Camera frames are used locally for real-time pose estimation. We do NOT store or upload these images or videos.

  • Only numerical pose accuracy metrics are collected.

1.5 Optional Login Providers

  • Google Sign-In (email + name).

  • We do not access any other Google data.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly for the following purposes:

2.1 App Functionality

  • Creating and managing your OLY account.

  • Running yoga, meditation, and breathing sessions.

  • Processing camera/microphone access for real-time feedback.

  • Synchronizing your profile image and saving session progress.

2.2 Analytics

  • Understanding app performance.

  • Improving the accuracy of pose detection.

  • Enhancing overall user experience.

2.3 Personalization

  • Showing your personal progress.

  • Remembering your favorite session types and providing dynamic recommendations.

2.4 Support & Security

  • Providing customer support.

  • Preventing fraud and abuse.

  • Debugging technical issues.

 

3. What We Do NOT Do

To ensure your privacy, we strictly adhere to the following:

  • We do NOT sell your data.

  • We do NOT share your data with advertisers.

  • We do NOT track you across other apps or websites.

  • We do NOT use your data for marketing.

  • We do NOT store face images or camera videos.

  • We do NOT share your voice recordings (none are saved).

 

4. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is securely stored using the following infrastructure:

  • AWS DynamoDB (account info, progress).

  • AWS S3 (optional profile photo).

  • Encryption: All transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

  • No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (e.g., no Facebook, no Firebase Analytics).

  • Access Control: Only authorized administrators can access data strictly for support or maintenance.

 

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account remains active. If your account is inactive for a long period, we may delete the data automatically to protect your privacy.

How to Delete Your Data:
You may request the deletion of your personal data at any time.

Upon request, we will:

  • Delete your account.

  • Remove your profile data and images from S3.

  • Remove your analytics and session history.

  • Processing time: Up to 14 days.

 

6. Permissions We Request

To provide our services, the App requests the following permissions:

  • Camera: Required for real-time yoga/motion tracking and setting a profile photo.

  • Microphone: Required for voice assistant commands (e.g., "mute", "next").

  • Photos: Required for choosing a profile image from your gallery.

  • Location (Optional): Used only for personalized environment-based recommendations. Location data is not stored.

  • Notifications: To remind you of sessions.

 

7. Children's Privacy

OLY is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

 

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. The updated version will always be available inside the App and on our website.
